To ensure your safety, please seek immediate in-person medical attention at an urgent care or ER if you experience one or more of the following:

Swelling or redness around the eyes
History of 4 or more episodes of bacterial sinusitis within a 12-month period that were diagnosed by a physician

If a diagnosis is confirmed, your Zalud provider will send a prescription directly to your local pharmacy. You will receive a notification via your secure Zalud dashboard as soon as the provider has reviewed your case and made a decision.
Please contact your chosen pharmacy directly to confirm when your medication is ready for pickup.
Before you start, have these ready:
Your ID: A clear photo of your Driver’s License or Passport.
Your Pharmacy: Know the address of the pharmacy where you want to pick up your medication.
This service is available to adults ages 18–64 who meet the clinical criteria for treatment. If you are enrolled in Medicare, you may not use Zalud Health for medical services that are covered by your Medicare plan. Federal regulations limit our ability to provide these services to patients enrolled in this program. We recommend seeking care from a provider who participates in your health plan. Eligibility may also depend on your symptoms, medical history, and the severity of your condition. If online care isn’t appropriate for you, your provider will let you know and recommend the appropriate next steps.
Our providers review a detailed medical intake form covering your symptoms, medical history, and any warning signs. With this information, they can determine whether online care is appropriate for you or if you need an in-person evaluation.
Depending on your symptoms and medical history, your provider may prescribe medications such as nasal sprays or, when appropriate, antibiotics. They may also recommend over-the-counter options to help relieve pressure, congestion, and inflammation.
A provider will review your medical intake within 4 hours, though it is often much faster.
During the process, you’ll be able to search for and select the pharmacy that is most convenient for you. We can send electronic prescriptions to major pharmacy chains and many local independent pharmacies.
Your safety is our priority. If your symptoms require an in-person evaluation, imaging, additional testing, or more immediate medical attention, your provider will let you know and recommend the appropriate next steps. If we determine that online care is not appropriate for you, your consultation fee will be refunded.
No. Zalud currently offers this service only to adults ages 18–64. For anyone under 18, we recommend consulting a pediatrician.
The $39 fee covers your medical consultation, provider review, and treatment plan. It does not include the cost of medication at the pharmacy. You can use your insurance, a prescription discount card, or pay out of pocket at the pharmacy.
If your provider determines that you need to see a specialist or seek emergency care instead, we’re happy to provide a full refund for your visit.
