If the lab is unable to process your sample due to a collection error, we’ll send you one replacement kit at no additional cost. To help us keep our testing kits affordable, please carefully follow the instructions included with your kit or watch the instructional video provided to help prevent sample collection errors.
Your kit will arrive in discreet packaging with no indication of its contents.
Results are typically available within 2–5 business days after the lab receives your sample. You’ll be able to view them securely in your patient dashboard as soon as they’re ready.
You’ll have the opportunity to speak with a provider about your results, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance based on your results and health information.
You’ll receive your results from the lab through your patient dashboard. Once they’re available, you’re welcome to check in with your provider to set a time for your complimentary consultation to discuss your results.
Depending on your results and medical history, your provider may determine that prescription treatment is appropriate. Any prescription is based on your provider’s clinical judgment and is not guaranteed.
Our STI test can be taken during pregnancy. The Essential Health Test, however, should not be taken during pregnancy because pregnancy can naturally affect several of the biomarkers it measures. Since the test’s reference ranges are based on non-pregnant adults, some results may appear outside the standard range even when they are normal during pregnancy.
